Nurse Residency Program RN – Spring/Summer

Our Graduate Nurse Intern Program provides a transition from Graduate Nurse to Registered Nurse. 

 

New graduate RN full-time positions may be offered on the following units (availability fluctuates for each start date based on campus needs):

  • Medical/Surgical Specialty

  • Post-Partum

  • Ortho-Surg

  • Emergency Department*

  • Behavioral Health

Qualifications

What you will need:

  • Must be a graduate or soon to be graduate of an accredited school of nursing (CCNE or ACEN)
  • GN Certificate from the Texas Board of Nursing prior to start date
  • Current BLS from American Heart Association
  • New RN graduate or in last semester of nursing school
  • Current ACLS preferred
  • Previous work as a CNA, Student Nurse Tech, Triage Tech or EMT in an acute care setting preferred but not required.
  • Volunteer experience in an acute care setting preferred.
